Im an american. Can i save money if i open an honduran bank account with my dollars?

I was wondering if i got a honduran bank account and i put some money in a honduran bank account would i be able to save money if i get money out of the honduran bank account rather than getting money out of an atm. Also note that i am planning on being in honduras for months.
Would i be better off putting some money in a honduran bank account? My bank also said they get 2 percent of the exchange rate what does that mean?

What credit card company processes transactions quickly into the system?

Posted by Chrisstenson Ford 16 February, 2010 (1) Comment

When I make a purchase with my debit card and go home to check my bank account , the purchase is already in the system. But when I use my credit card it takes at least a couple days. If there are any credit card companies that process as fast as using a debit card, please let me know, Thanks

what is the bast way to go about getting my first credit card? (other then through department stores)

i just recently opened my first account (checking) through monroe bank and trust.

dont you have to have an account for a long time at certain banks before you can get cresit cards there?

i would like a visa card, but when i try to apply online, they ask you to select a bank or credit union. monroe bank and trust isnt on there, can i pick a bank or creit union that i dont use?
