What is the best credit card to open for establishing credit?
I’m a college student and have no established credit. I’ve had a debit card for about 6 years, but I’d like to open a credit card to start building credit. I’ve researched MTV and Citi bank Visas, Discover, and American Express, but am still not sure what the best option would be. I plan to use my card sparingly and pay it immediately from my debit account.
What credit card company processes transactions quickly into the system?
When I make a purchase with my debit card and go home to check my bank account , the purchase is already in the system. But when I use my credit card it takes at least a couple days. If there are any credit card companies that process as fast as using a debit card, please let me know, Thanks
What is the best credit card I can get to start building my credit with? Or how can I start building my credit?
Can I start building my credit by paying for things with my bank card and telling them to charge it on credit? (I do not know much about how to build my credit so please help me!)
Question: Best credit card to get to starting building credit and can I build my credit by using my bank card and telling them to charge it on credit instead of debit?
Should I get a credit card? How do you choose the best credit card?
I just finished college, and work full time. I have a debit card, and building good credit from paying off loans. A lot of people have been telling me to get a credit card, but I wonder if it really is necessary. Please give me some good reasons to get a credit card other than building good credit. The only other advantage I know about is those point-system/rewards credit cards, that earn you miles or other things. And what is the best credit card to get for a first time credit card holder? The number of choices are a little overwhelming. How did you choose your first/main credit card?
