ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1005PE
I have been testing the ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1005PE over the past couple of weeks, and what a brilliant little machine it is…
The PC itself has sophistocated curvy panels and a sharp look. The 1005PE comes in a variety of colours, blue, black, pink and white. ASUS installed a single mouse button. The left side of the netbook has a VGA and USB port. On the right hand side there is a 3-in-1 memory card reader, two USB ports, an Ethernet port, and headphone and microphone sockets. Above the display is a 1.3-mega-pixel webcam this provided clear images when I tested a Skype video conference with a friend.
The netbook has a 10.1 inch screen with 1024×600 resolution and weighs 2.8lb. I watched a copy of 24 and it was smooth and bright. The integrated speakers were OK and I listened to the radio all afternoon without any distortion or tinniness.
If you want to upgrade the RAM, it can be done really easily by unscrewing the plastic door on the back and add in another 2gb stick of RAM. The hard drive takes a bit more work to get out, but you do get 500gb online storage.
The netbook benefits from a one year warranty and a free telephone technical support line if you need it.
In my opinion, the Eee PC Seashell 1005PE is a really value for money netbook machine and is about the same price as the previous netbook and undercuts some of the competition on price. Overall it is better made than its predecessors, the battery life is more than adequate at about 8-10 hours of normal use. The feel is comfortable and sturdy and the keyboard is comfortable to type on.
I really like this little netbook, it is the most thought out netbook that I have seen to date and is excellent on the price. Take a look at some pricing from Amazon here

How to choose a Desktop PC Monitor
Years have gone since I got my desktop computer. Recently it seems the PC monitor is not working well. So, maybe it is time to have a new one replace it.
Choosing a right monitor is not an easy job for there are too many options available on the market nowadays. As far as I am concerned, those factor listed below are supposed to be considered.
A. The space of your desk. This would determine the size of the monitor. A flat-screen monitor will fit in the case of a limited desk space. LCD computer monitors usually take up very little space while CRT monitors occupy much with a look resembling older televisions.
B. Use of the computer. If you use the computer to watch movies or TV, you may need a larger or wide screen monitor. Computer gamers would probably prefer CRT’s which refresh faster than LCD’s. People working on the computer, such as doing graphic design, had better choose a flat screen with a great number of pixels.
C. Features. Comparing features of different monitors is also very important. Small details — like digital controls, built-in speakers and USB ports etc. — may have an obvious effect on the comfort you have when using the desktop PC.
D. Budget. Lol, it is at last but not the least. PC monitors can range from a hundred dollars or so to thousands of dollars. After targeting a certain monitor, I searched the internet to see if there is any coupons and discount information ongoing. By the way, I find Digcoupons.com is an useful websites offering those money saving things.
Besides factors above, there may be many other things to think about. For choosing a well-content monitor, take a few minutes to calculate who you are as a computer user, and for saving, just browse through Digcoupons.com.
